At this bustling, light-filled restaurant with boats right outside, you’ll pay around $25–$35 per entrée for generous portions, and this includes favorites like the crunchy-on-the-outside, soft-inside Fried Mac N Cheese Balls and the flavorful Sautéed Salmon with Lemon, Caper and Mushroom sauce.
This place draws a lively mix of locals and visitors every night, and while it can get busy, servers like Jeff, Yvette, and Joel keep things running smoothly—making every visit, whether for a special occasion or an everyday meal, feel memorable.
The Standing Room Restaurant

We adore the unpretentious charm that is The Standing Room Restaurant, a spot that serves—no surprise—burgers and fries. The space is decked out with quirky memorabilia and chalkboard menus covering every inch of wall, nudging you to sample the standout burger or parm truffle fries. Everything we’ve tried here is fantastic, but the short rib is a hidden gem. This tender, slow-cooked dish is richly seasoned, balanced with savory jus, and served in a cozy, no-frills setting.
Beach Cities Social Kitchen & Bar

This is not only the best South Indian restaurant in Redondo Beach, it’s also one of the best in the entire South Bay. The dosas here are crisp and flavorful in a way that will change your mind about dosas if you’ve only had bland, uninspired versions in the past. They also have a full menu of tandoori kabobs, sliders, and paneer dishes, and all of them are very good. We especially love the Andrha chicken fry sliders for evenings when we need our first bite of the night to really pull its weight.
R/10 Social House

From the outside, R/10 Social House looks as though it’s filled with waterfront views. And from the inside, it also appears this way. That’s because R/10 Social House—which is about the size of a spacious event hall—is actually filled with waterfront views. At the counter, you can order calamari with sauce, fish and chips, and Baja fish tacos by the plate, but you should probably make a meal of it and add some salad or Brussels sprouts.
A combo of fish tacos and a side costs about $18 and even comes with a friendly smile from Sacha or Roman.
Baleen Kitchen

Seafood lovers know that Baleen Kitchen serves some of the best in SouthBay, and the Miso Glazed Black Cod with perfect texture, rich broth, and melt-in-your-mouth fish is pretty much flawless. Don’t make the mistake of ordering dinner from this harbor-side spot without getting a drink though—there’s a reason the bar selection is as impressive as the food menu.
The cioppino, a seafood stew with scallops and swordfish, is a comforting coastal dish, and the crab cake eggs Benedict is one of our favorite brunch items in the area. There are plenty of tables in the relaxed, breezy space.
Good Stuff – Redondo Beach

There are plenty of American diners in Redondo Beach, but Good Stuff serves the most satisfying breakfast, hands down. The place feels like a cozy neighborhood kitchen, with warm lighting and comfortable booths that invite you to settle in. Regulars know to ask for servers like Amy or Natalie, who remember your preferences and make you feel like family.
Stock up on their vegetarian chili to take home for quick, comforting meals when you need a taste of their welcoming atmosphere.
The Slip Bar & Eatery – Redondo Beach

The Slip Bar & Eatery’s indoor dining area is solid, but the patio on the Redondo Beach International Boardwalk is where this local favorite really shines. It’s perched right along the marina, and the waterfront crowd is lively—expect sports on the TVs, people sharing garlic fries at picnic tables, and a festive vibe during holidays. We love the smash burgers and wings, but the legendary chili burger, which includes a juicy patty topped with rich, spicy chili, is the one you must not skip.
Hudson House
