Five Guys

Five Guys is a popular burger joint in Sebring, and they don’t take reservations, so naturally it’s tough to get a table when they’re busy. But with some patience, you can grab a spot at one of their low tables and have a quick meal of a fully cooked burger customized with your favorite toppings, or a generous portion of their famous fries. Wash it down with a soda and some free peanuts and be on your way.
Jimmy’s Greek American Grill

Jimmy’s Greek American Grill is the go-to spot for affordable Greek-American eats in Sebring. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or family meal, though. Grab a table in the bustling mall food court, take in the aromas of sizzling gyro meat and fresh fries, and start with a Greek salad. Then, get a hearty plate like the authentic Gyro meal with home fries and salad or the Philly cheese steak grinder made to order.
You could even do some chicken strips with plenty of fries for the kids and call it a day – but you’re not allowed to call anything until you finish with a piece of Greek Baklava.
Dairy Queen

Speaking of ice cream, Dairy Queen is another pretty fantastic place to enjoy it. You can order just a chocolate cone, so that plus a treat like a Turtle Pecan Blizzard with fresh nuts and hot fudge works perfectly. You could also go for a hot, fresh burger. No matter what, end with a smile from the friendly staff, because you deserve it.
Apex at Seven

We once saw someone sit at the long polished bar at Apex at Seven and enjoy the entire breakfast buffet, a full-measure pour from Brigitte, and a happy hour special all by himself. Good for him. You should do that, too.
The Gator Shack

It would be perfect to wander in here after a hot Florida day, dig into some gator bites or a steak alongside a cold beer, and then just soak up the lively atmosphere. We like the welcoming, kid-friendly vibe the place has going on, the aforementioned gator bites with that homemade sauce, and the superb steaks on weekends. We also like not having to worry about accessibility or sharing the all-you-can-eat catfish with a crowd.
Sunset Grille

During peak hours, your chances of snagging a spot on Sunset Grille’s outdoor deck are practically doubled if you arrive solo. Once you have a seat overlooking Lake Jackson, the only thing you need to decide is whether to order the fabulous butter chicken or the blackened grouper with mashed potatoes (trick answer: get the butter chicken). Add a drink from bartender John and an order of crab jalapeño bites for one of the most relaxing solo dining experiences with a view in Sebring.
Chicanes Restaurant & Bar

Knowing that Chicane’s Restaurant & Bar exists is like remembering that someone once gave you the perfect anniversary gift – it makes you feel special. This is a relaxed lakeside spot away from the busier parts of Sebring, and inside it’s like a cross between a celebration hall and a cozy retreat, if cozy retreats contained perfect cream boule and really good port wine reduction sauce.
The menu has everything from Sizzling Delmonico Steak to Filet Mignon to a fantastic French Onion Soup that comes with good bread and attentive service from staff like Cristy, who is absolutely amazing, patient, and sweet.
Burger King

There are family dinners where you want to linger and chat with the staff about the weather or whatever, and then there are family dinners where you want to get in, feed the kids, and get out, without having to manage more than your order with another person. This is easily achievable at Burger King. This drive-through spot specializes in classic burgers topped with things like bacon, Swiss cheese, and fresh veggies (we’re especially big fans of the Whopper).
Don’t be shy with the crispy fries – they’re delicious.
IHOP

We like IHOP for a few reasons. First, the staff members like Nikolas and Karen are super nice. Second, the food is reliably delicious. Third, the prices are extremely reasonable. So all in all, it’s the perfect place to eat a casual breakfast and finally text your mom.
Faded Bistro & Beer Garden

On a sunny afternoon, you want to be relaxing at a table in Faded Bistro & Beer Garden. The atmosphere is cozy, and you can make your meal anything from some breakfast tacos to a plate of quiche to a delicious steak with fresh fish. This is also not a bad place to bring your friends and maybe enjoy some cocktails in the bungalow-styled interior.
