Whether you’re planning a leisurely dinner or just popping in for their popular lunch special, Dragon House is a solid choice for satisfying Chinese food and a comfortable meal. The nicely lit restaurant is often filled with lunchtime regulars and families, seated at long tables or in booths surrounded by classical Chinese artwork. You’ll be anticipating your meal from the moment you walk in, as the dining area carries the inviting aromas of lemon chicken and freshly prepared dishes.
There’s also plenty of parking available during lunch hours if you’re just stopping by without much planning.
Mr. You Express Chinese Food
$ | (951) 243-0828 | WEBSITE
Sometimes that whole fast-food Chinese joint thing works, and Mr. You Express is proof of this theory. The spot in Moreno Valley is straightforward: a clean counter for ordering, a few simple tables, and a kitchen that pumps out food fast. The space feels a little like you’re in a no-frills cafeteria, but it’s our favorite place for a quick meal here, especially if you’re craving something satisfying.
There’s also a small counter by the window if you’re in the mood to watch the street, and the bright lighting makes everything feel fresh. Order the spicy orange chicken, which is crispy and actually full of flavor—no skimping here. And grab the coconut shrimp, served with a sweet dipping sauce that balances the crunch perfectly.
T. Wok express Chinese food
$ | (951) 485-1688 | WEBSITE
You’ve had a long week and need something comforting without the fuss, so it’s time to swing by for some reliable Chinese takeout. T. Wok Express will hit the spot. Pull into the strip mall parking lot, a bit away from the main drag, where you can pop in for a quick pickup or settle at one of the simple tables by the window. Prices are reasonable here (most entrees run $12-18), but portions are generous, so you’ll get your money’s worth, and there’s also a decent selection of vegetarian options.
The potstickers are spot on—fresh and crispy—though the orange chicken can be a bit bland and not always the freshest, so this isn’t a gourmet destination unless you simply can’t fathom skipping their solid potato chicken dish. There’s a grocery store right next door so you can grab a drink to go with your meal until the very last minute.

The restaurant itself has a nice dining atmosphere, with comfortable seating and warm lighting, but the standout is the competitively priced lunch specials that give you generous portions.
They run the panang curry lunch special with perfect spice, so check that out before you go. If takeout isn’t your thing, there’s a pleasant dine-in experience with excellent service that makes it a must-visit spot.
Top Seafood Restaurant

Sure, there’s plenty of Chinese takeout in Moreno Valley, but that’s not where you’ll find the best healthier tasting Chinese cuisine. Head to Top Seafood Restaurant—where the flavorful wontons, savory BBQ fried rice, and shrimp chop suey are all generous, beautifully prepared, and perfectly cooked. The dishes range from the delicious Kung Pao Chicken with noodles to the must-try egg foo young, which is our favorite.
Pair it with the Orange Chicken with noodles (they have quick service) for the ultimate convenient meal.

Mr You Express is a popular Chinese spot in Moreno Valley that serves generous combos with noodles or fried rice, steamed vegetables, and options like teriyaki chicken or orange chicken. Walk into the bright, casual dining room with simple tables and a counter for ordering, where the friendly staff greets you warmly. Place your order at the counter, otherwise there’s plenty of seating for families and groups. It does get busy during dinner hours, though, so plan accordingly.
