Pembroke Pines can be a surprising place, and we don’t mean that in the ‘hidden gem’ or ‘culinary oasis’ type of way. A meal in this South Florida suburb can quickly become more than you likely expected—it’s sprawling, diverse, authentic, bustling, and to some newcomers, somewhat overwhelming. And while we get that perspective, we also happen to know Pembroke Pines is full of Chinese restaurants that are worth your appetite.
China Pavilion (Chifa Lung Wha)
$$ | (954) 431-2299 | WEBSITE
China Pavilion (Chifa Lung Wha) is a vibrant Chinese-Peruvian spot tucked inside a medical center in Pembroke Pines, where there’s something delicious happening at any given hour: bustling dim sum mornings, satisfying dinner service, and authentic chifa classics. There’s a welcoming dining area up front and a steady kitchen in the back, so even if you drop by on a weekday, it’ll feel like a weekend feast.
While this place is renowned for its dim sum, it’s also very inclusive with plentiful vegetarian options. They’ve got fair prices with most dishes around $12–$18, and the portions are usually generous enough that you’d only need one or two before feeling completely satisfied.
The atmosphere is nice and accessible, with wheelchair-friendly spaces and attentive staff ensuring a hot, fresh meal every time—whether you’re indulging in Tallarin con Pollo en Trozo, Arroz Chaufa de Pollo, or their standout Pollo Chi Jau Kai.
C C Chinese Cooking
$ | (954) 985-1010 | WEBSITE
If you’re a take-out enthusiast or a friend of someone who considers themself a take-out enthusiast, you’ve been to C C Chinese Cooking. The reliable, no-frills spot is a go-to for quick and delicious meals, and after that long day at work left you drained, you’ll need it. The service is super friendly, prices are affordable, and the food menu is actually pretty great. The loyalty to this place is pretty impressive too, but there’s not enough room to get into it here.
Just know the egg rolls hit different.
Dragon Gate
$ | (954) 438-9982 | WEBSITE
Dragon Gate is great because there’s not much to it. Located in what’s basically a strip mall storefront, Dragon Gate is where you grab Chinese food when you don’t have time to deal with anything else. It’s always easy to get into, and extremely well-priced considering the quality. There’s not a theme, or fancy décor, or really much of anything. It’s just a Chinese restaurant. With honey chicken. And that’s oddly refreshing in Pembroke Pines.
RiceUp Asian Kitchen
$ | (954) 392-9898 | WEBSITE
Where do we even start with you, RiceUp? You’re a Pembroke Pines treasure. You’re one of our favorite spots for Asian cuisine. You’re also a hidden gem—a hidden gem we’ll happily drive across town for, because you’re worth it every time. Your food and atmosphere (and staff) are unlike anything else in this area, and your reasonable prices and generous portions get us exactly where we need to be. Never, ever change RiceUp. Love, The Infatuation.
Panda Express
$ | (954) 447-6802 | WEBSITE
The menu at this casual spot is a consistent lineup of familiar favorites, but the main draw at Panda Express is the generous portions, with dishes like the honey walnut shrimp delivering reliable satisfaction. You kind of feel like you’re grabbing a quick meal on the go here, and that’s way more convenient than you think.
China City
$$ | (954) 431-7688 | WEBSITE
Tucked away in a Pembroke Pines strip mall, China City does a solid job of making you forget you’re in a shopping center with its warm lighting and family-friendly vibe, but all of that can shift depending on the hour. Visit China City on weeknights for quiet dinners with their famous boneless ribs and general chicken, because late nights get busy with regulars and hungry locals grabbing wonton soup and fried chicken after work.
And sure, the prices here are on the reasonable side, but you’re paying for consistency and the fact that you’re actually enjoying satisfying Chinese food for once.
Gold Marquess Pembroke Pines
$$ | (954) 367-7730 | WEBSITE
Tucked away in a cozy food hall in Pembroke Pines, it’d be easy to overlook Gold Marquess as just another Asian spot you aren’t craving tonight. But this place is different. It takes a moment to settle into the lively, modern setting, but once you do, you’ll discover a fantastic little eatery with fresh dim sum made on-site, amazing soup dumplings that melt in your mouth, and a vibrant atmosphere where a DJ spins Asian Fusion and Latino beats on certain nights.
The bento box with crispy chicken, fried rice, and dumplings is a steal at around $15, perfect for a casual lunch, while servers are patient and informative, making it ideal for family dining, meeting friends, or a night out with a non-picky child.
Umami Fusion
$ | (954) 392-9774 | WEBSITE
Umami Fusion is one of those restaurants you walk into and say ‘Wait, how long has this been here?’ The answer is longer than you think, but its tucked-away West Pembroke Pines location has kept it pretty under the radar. Located in a clean, bright strip mall, Umami Fusion is the low-key Asian spot and a great place to get a quick, satisfying meal before heading home for the evening. The small dining area feels fresh and comfortable, with simple tables that seat about a dozen people total.
You’ll find yourself ordering the Golden Chicken Steak Rice Bowl or the Mongolian beef—both around $14–$16—and wondering why you haven’t been coming here for years. The staff is friendly and patient, always ready with a smile even when the take-out orders stack up. It’s the kind of place where the owner might stop by your table to check on you, making the whole experience feel personal and warm.
Don’t let the modest storefront fool you; the flavors here are authentic and well-prepared, whether you’re dining in or grabbing food to go. Just be prepared for the occasional wait on busy nights—they’ll apologize sincerely, and the food is worth it.
China Taste
$ | (954) 885-8633 | WEBSITE
China Taste is one of our favorite Pembroke Pines Chinese spots because it’s a place you can pick up takeout and eat in comfort. If you’re a local, you’ve definitely been here after one of your long days, and if you crave orange chicken, you’ve stopped here en route home, the reliable kitchen just around the corner. There’s also a whole separate dining area through the front that welcomes everything from family dinners and casual lunches to busy takeout orders.
Nami Sushi & Grill
$$ | (954) 450-2388 | WEBSITE
Nami Sushi & Grill is one of our favorite sushi spots in Pembroke Pines, and the kind of place you go for a casual dinner with your foodie friend and end up staying for an impromptu hibachi show that has the whole dining room cheering.
The cozy space along the main strip has a steady stream of regulars every day of the week, and while the bento boxes are certainly a popular choice, it’s very possible to just stroll in, grab a seat at the sushi bar, and watch Takara work his magic with the freshest fish in town.
