Pastas Trattoria

After paying $65 per person for the price fix menu at Pastas Trattoria, you’ll be asked whether you want your three-course meal to start with the house salad or soup of the day. That’ll be as close to a decision as you’ll need to make at this charming trattoria on Main Street in Pleasanton. After being warmly greeted and seated, you’ll hear how all of the pasta dishes are made fresh daily with traditional Italian techniques.
By far our favorite thing we’ve had here is a plate of lobster and shrimp ravioli served in a light cream sauce. While the leisurely dinner could definitely be classified as special occasion dining, it never feels formal thanks to servers like Oscar who casually check on you while making sure that your water glass is never empty.
