When someone mentions grabbing a quick bite in North Las Vegas, they’re likely picturing the neon-lit drive-thrus along Craig Road. It’s one of the most accessible food scenes in the valley (you can find something open 24/7), and you could satisfy any craving from classic burgers to late-night tacos. While national chains dominate the landscape, you’ll also discover local gems that have been serving the community for years.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken
$ | (702) 214-2865 | WEBSITE
Krispy Krunchy Chicken is tucked inside a gas station, and offers delicious, fresh chicken that has become a neighborhood favorite. Their four-piece chicken tender meal has become a local go-to in and around North Las Vegas, as has the fried chicken, which harkens back to the crispy goodness of classic comfort food. If you can add Louisiana Hot sauce to your order, do that—you’re in for a spicy kick. During peak hours, there is often a wait for food as it has gained popularity.
And if you’re looking to make a whole meal of it with sides, the honey-saturated biscuit comes highly recommended.
Pollo Campero
$ | (833) 226-7376 | WEBSITE
Pollo Campero has established itself as a go-to spot for families seeking reliable fast food with a welcoming touch. It doesn’t hurt that the staff, led by the attentive Guillermo, consistently delivers friendly and helpful service that makes everyone feel at home.
The restaurant is situated in a convenient North Las Vegas location—where you can easily navigate a busy day of errands or activities—and is the perfect place to stop for a quick meal, enjoy some fried chicken, and relax in a clean, family-friendly atmosphere.
The drive-thru offers excellent service for those on the move (though you’ll want to plan ahead for the grilled chicken, which takes 30-40 minutes to prepare), so bring the kids and share the many menu options, all paired with the signature fried chicken that keeps customers coming back.
Salad and Go
$ | (702) 425-3779 | WEBSITE
Salad and Go is basically the real-life amalgamation of every well-styled photo of a healthy drive-thru on the internet. There’s fresh greens everywhere, efficient service counters scattered across the space, and they serve and sell the kind of salads you decide you want to eat daily until you realize they’re only $8 each.
They serve one of our favorite North Las Vegas lunches any day—highlights of the menu include a Thai chicken salad made to order and a Greek salad with Kalama olives and feta cheese. It’s worth it to stop by for a snack, too, when you can get a creamy jalapeno dressing wrap with chicken and bacon or a black cherry frozen drink perfect for hot weather.
Arby’s
$ | (702) 649-5521 | WEBSITE
Picture it: You’re driving through North Las Vegas with a temporary to mid-range craving, and, with some amount of urgency, your stomach tells you it’s time for something hot and tasty. Oh god, you think, it’s not happening at the gas station. Oh GOD, you think, it’s not happening at the drive-thru with the mile-long line. That’s when you see Arby’s shining on the strip.
The straightforward spot has functional ordering (through their convenient app) and get-the-job-done fast food offerings, but Arby’s best qualities are the cool and friendly staff who work here and their underappreciated Beef n Cheddar. The memory of roast beef, melty cheese sauce, and that toasted bun will last much longer than your current frustration with the missing potato cakes.
Taqueria San Miguel
$ | (702) 366-4868 | WEBSITE
Whether you’re heading to the strip or just need a quick bite after work, Taqueria San Miguel should be your first stop when you’re in North Las Vegas. During the day, you’ll find handmade tortillas, grilled onions and serrano peppers, and warm beans that come with each meal. At night, the food truck stays open for fresh grilled meat, vegetarian quesadillas, and hardworking service.
The accessible location with nearby parking is also perfect if you’re with your family and need a spot that welcomes kids.
Farmer Boys
$$ | (702) 675-7555 | WEBSITE
Farmer Boys is perfect for your friend who insists on fresh ingredients in their fast food, and has plenty of other satisfying options for the people in your group who just want a classic burger and fries from the quick drive-thru.
The salad selection has some delicious choices that include the popular cobb salad with a recommended twist of raw onion and honey mustard ranch, and crispy zucchini sticks that are a must-try, so get a few different items to share with friends to experience the variety.
Five Guys
$ | (725) 269-2843 | WEBSITE
Five Guys is kind of a ridiculous burger joint, which we say only to make sure you’re the right candidate for a visit. People in 2014 would have called its style “fast-casual,” and even that label undersells the orthodoxy at play. The Five Guys team serves fresh and great-tasting food, where they make theoretically perfect burgers and grow the crispest lettuce known to man.
Crucially, though, Five Guys the restaurant is more “customizable toppings” than “dirt under the fingernails.” Anyone appalled by the thought of a $15 burger and fries should avoid. But if you’re hot on Cajun-style fries or want to know exactly what makes the bacon burger so good (ketchup, mayo, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions), you’ll be glad you came.
Café Zupas
$ | (725) 262-5631 | WEBSITE
Café Zupas opened at a time when most fast-casual spots were chasing bold flavors, piling on ingredients, and going big, big, big. When everyone zigged, they zagged, and created some of the most satisfying, dialed-in soups, sandwiches, and salads using fresh, straightforward ingredients. They’re a bit like a skilled chef preparing a classic dish—you know they could complicate things, but they’re focused on delivering comfort.
That being said, the team at Café Zupas does add some flair, so don’t be surprised to find delightful touches like the complimentary chocolate-covered strawberry or the power bowl with sweet potato. Their dining area is a welcoming space with spacious seating that invites families and individuals to relax and enjoy a meal in a comfortable setting.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers
$ | (725) 230-3822 | WEBSITE
North Las Vegas fast food fans collectively rejoice when Raising Cane’s opens its doors, offering a clean, welcoming environment that stands out in a sea of drive-thrus. Thankfully, people who crave perfectly seasoned chicken strips can flock to this location, where you can get juicy, crispy fingers and crunchy fries to pair with the signature Cane’s sauce you can’t find anywhere else.
You can’t really go wrong here, but we especially love the chicken fingers, which have a satisfying crunch rather than a greasy coating. They also do kid-friendly options daily, with service so quick your food is often ready in 5-10 minutes, or until you’ve finished every last bite.
Jersey Mike’s Subs
$ | (702) 665-5189 | WEBSITE
There’s a world outside the strip in North Las Vegas, and it’s absolutely worth discovering, especially when you’ll have a sandwich from Jersey Mike’s to show for your effort. You’ll need to head to the Losee and Deer Springs location, as it’s situated just on the outskirts of the main drag, but it’s worth it for the high-quality subs they’re known for.
Settle into one of the clean, well-kept booths inside while you wait, or pass the time watching the efficient staff handle the lunch rush with ease. And always let Chris or Sergio guide you through the menu for a unique sandwich experience that leaves you consistently satisfied.
In-N-Out Burger
$ | (800) 786-1000 | WEBSITE
In a city where every new restaurant seems to require a reservation app and a $30 burger, we’re all the more grateful for spots like In-N-Out Burger, where you can pull up with the whole family without planning ahead or spending $50 per person. It’s easy to make a meal out of their fresh, well-cooked classics like protein wraps for keto diets or those with wheat allergies, but you could also camp out in the clean, welcoming dining area where kids are treated well and staff quickly clear trash.
They’re always busy, which means you might even find yourself in a drive-thru line that extends to the street—but the friendly, attentive service makes even the longest wait feel worthwhile.
Del Taco
$ | (702) 639-0035 | WEBSITE
Find us a better fast food taco in North Las Vegas. That’s not a challenge or an exaggeration, it’s a sincere request. We don’t believe they exist. The Thursday Chicken Taco at Del Taco, situated in a strip mall that could be anywhere in the Southwest, are on the generous side of the spectrum with a satisfying crunch. If you add the Habanero Sauce (do this), it’ll be spiced to the point of near-perfection with just enough heat to wake up your taste buds without overwhelming them.
And somehow the tortilla shells stay crisp all the same. It helps that Del Taco serves their tacos with fresh ingredients—no soggy or limp textures. This restaurant will make you appreciate the consistency of fast food done right, and also the power of genuinely friendly service.
Tacos el Panzón
$ | (702) 888-1323 | WEBSITE
If you’re looking for a hidden gem where you can grab fast, friendly service and eat excellent tacos with freshly made tortillas, head straight to Tacos el Panzón. They also offer buy one get one free pastor tacos from Sunday to Thursday in case you’re craving a deal on their char-grilled steak. The classic steak taco is a favorite, but it’s also worth trying the burritos with free toppings and consomé.
Petite Kitchen
$ | (702) 954-6242 | WEBSITE
Petite Kitchen is full of serious crepes and drinks in a place that makes a point to feel like home. Pretty much everyone here is smiling, and the menu reads like a handwritten love letter to sweet cravings (standout dishes include the banana nutella crepe and mango strawberry fruit crepe with condensed milk). Always order the passion fruit tea with lychee jelly and popping boba—sipping the refreshing, perfectly balanced drink with its playful textures is a joyful experience.
Everything is tasty, but don’t leave without getting a cup of their well-made coffee milk tea, adjusted to your preferred sugar level by the friendly owner.
Alive Coffee and Smoothies
$ | (702) 941-7640 | WEBSITE
Alive Coffee and Smoothies is a standalone coffee shop, and it feels like a much nicer-than-average neighborhood spot. The service is great, and the drink menu has all things like a classic coffee or smoothie, but includes tweaks like blending cloves, ginger, and apple tea into the Slym tea, or mixing hibiscus, pineapple, and mango into the antioxidant drink.
They also have a tempting food selection that features items like the Choco Secret sandwich and a breakfast burrito that some find generously sized.
Jack In The Box
$ | (702) 649-5222 | WEBSITE
Jack In The Box has been in North Las Vegas for years, but it was updated in 2025 with a fresh, clean look. The bright interior and quick-service counter are reliable spots for a fast meal or snack, and you should keep the drive-thru in mind for all your breakfast needs. If you’re here in the morning, get a bacon breakfast sandwich—they’re made fresh and are super satisfying.
