When you’re cruising through North Miami Beach’s sun-drenched streets, the hunger hits fast—and the options hit faster. Forget the predictable chains; we’ve scoured the strip malls and beachfront corners to find the spots where quick service meets real flavor. From crispy Cuban sandwiches that taste like Little Havana to beachside burger joints flipping patties with local pride, these nine fast food destinations are carving their own delicious path through Florida’s culinary landscape.
Burger King
$ | (305) 935-3546 | WEBSITE
There’s a lot of love for the Impossible Whopper and breakfast croissanwiches here. Everybody’s real, and you’re probably going to see Katrina making sure everything runs smoothly. If you’re not from South Florida, and you want something that feels authentic and satisfying, this Burger King is a good place to start.
Land n Sea Cajun Seafood

It’s run by this friendly team. They make the best Roast Pork and Duck combo that I’ve ever had in my life. They use, like, these generous portions of both meats together. You feel like you’re at a feast eating it, but it’s so satisfying. And they have their own Special Fried Rice that they make right there. And they prepare the ribs fresh in-house. They’re fall-off-the-bone tender. I go there whenever I can.
Arby’s
$ | (305) 956-5868 | WEBSITE
I think they had this Bronco sauce. It was really tight. But the roast beef is good, the curly fries are good. The service is fire, it’s very chill. You can walk right by it and not know what’s going on, and you’re still in the mix. I kind of like that.
Churroworld Co
$ | (786) 915-0471 | WEBSITE
I love Churroworld Co because the treats are always tempting. The whole vibe of Churroworld Co is they offer an array of delectable options and just convert the whole experience to pure fun. Unless you’re really studying the menu, you never know what you’re gonna crave. I like to never know because I enjoy the surprise of going in there one day and it’s like, “Oh yeah, it’s churros and ice cream this week.” I’m always ordering off the dessert side of the menu.
Churroworld Co is the family night spot. I’m never really just chilling at Churroworld Co, solo, or with just adults. For that type of experience, you might as well get some playtime out of it.
Taco Bell
$ | (305) 956-9666 | WEBSITE
Taco Bell is always a solid move if you’re looking for a quick, satisfying bite. They have a convenient late-night setup, where you can grab amazing food even at 1am. And then overall, they serve reliable Mexican-inspired meals. They have a remodeled location that’s reportedly improved the freshness, which is really nice. If you’re in North Miami Beach and need something fast and friendly, that’s a good spot to go and get your fix without breaking the bank.
Wendy’s
$ | (305) 493-3292 | WEBSITE
It has a straightforward fast-food kind of vibe. I feel like I’m being served by people who are trying their best, though it can be hit or miss. You know, sometimes you go to places and it’s just like, ‘Here’s your order.’ But I feel like I’m getting decent value for the price when the food’s hot and fresh. The cashier Olga was really patient when my order got mixed up, which was nice. Other times, though, the staff seem a bit unsure, and that rewards program thing?
Total headache—lost my points on a Frosty once and the manager couldn’t fix it. Still, for a quick burger, it hits the spot.
Pizza Hut
$ | (305) 940-2444 | WEBSITE
It’s fast food, with classic options. It’s just a reliable spot in the neighborhood. I love the Meat Lover’s pizza and garlic bread. They have great side salad.
Chick-fil-A
$ | (786) 746-6800 | WEBSITE
I took my kids to Chick-fil-A after their soccer game. They have this thing called the grilled chicken nuggets, and you order them fresh. They make them right when you ask. They give you the nuggets with this little dipping sauce, and there’s a bunch of chicken, and just food in there that’s really good. Their grilled chicken sandwiches are really good. And they have probably one of the best drive-throughs in the area.
I’m not much of a drive-through person—I just know that the service looks cool and the staff looks cool. It looks like something out of a family-friendly commercial—it’s very clean and vibrant.
Pollo Tropical
$ | (305) 945-0045 | WEBSITE
The Trio is really good. I think I had the refreshing drinks the last time I went, and they were really good. They have a drive-thru that I like. I like to go there for a weekend lunch. Go there when you’ve done most of the stuff you need to do for the weekend and kind of just want to go chill, be with family, have good food, and enjoy the afternoon.
