18 Best Pizza Restaurants in Katy, TX [2026 Updated]

Everyone knows Katy has solid pizza chains. But this Houston suburb hides gems far beyond the strip-mall defaults where families debate crust thickness. Our list delivers the absolute best pies in town (including the legendary Detroit-style spot), but also features Neapolitan perfection, New York slices worth the drive, and unexpected global twists.

Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen

$ | (281) 644-4826 | WEBSITE

Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen

This mall staple feels like a slice of Naples. There are gleaming stainless steel counters, bright overhead lighting, a bustling open kitchen, and a steady stream of customers grabbing fresh pizza by the slice. Servers wear crisp black aprons and the pizza preparer crafts each pie with visible care as diners enjoy spinach and broccoli stuffed pizza. But this is a neighborhood spot, not a chain imitation.

The pizzas are delicious, the marinara sauce is the best in Katy, and the staff have been greeting regulars with genuine smiles for years. It’s a great option for quick lunches and family dinners. And even though the food costs a bit more than other mall restaurants around town, it’s crafted with the kind of freshness that comes from daily preparation and consistent quality that keeps locals coming back for more.

DaddyO’s Pizza – Katy

$ | (346) 377-0777 | WEBSITE

DaddyO

DaddyO’s is a pizza-focused spot with a varied menu that includes wings, subs, and pasta. There are some inconsistencies during dinner here, but there are also enough bright spots to make it worth the visit. You can expect highlights like the Long Island pizza with well-balanced flavors or the sausage and spinach pizza praised for its fresh crust and generous toppings.

A fork and knife are the weapons of choice for attacking a meatball sub that could use more sauce, ensuring no crumb or flavor is left behind. And a side of wings, described as superior to those found elsewhere, fills the empty room in your stomach after eating otherwise light and small portions. Plus, the excellent service from manager Randy makes it the ideal spot for a reliable family meal.

Fuzzy’s Pizza Katy

$ | (281) 579-0100 | WEBSITE

Fuzzy

Katy is known for its pizza joints, and Fuzzy’s Pizza serves some of the area’s best. The deep-dish pizza here has a remarkably tasty crust that’s thick yet airy, with rich toppings inside. The Chicago style, a classic option, is loaded with cheese and tangy tomato sauce. The meatier supreme option features pepperoni and sausage that get baked into a savory blend. Besides the great pizza, the casual atmosphere makes it perfect for a family meal.

It’s got simple wooden tables, checkered tablecloths, and a straightforward counter setup in a no-frills space.

Chuck E. Cheese

$$ | (281) 644-4949 | WEBSITE

Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese is the kid-friendly alternative to fancier pizza spots—but the fun is actually much better here. And while other restaurants have a grown-up feel, Chuck E. Cheese is pure childhood. The walls are lined with colorful murals, the staff wear bright polo shirts, and it’s all about play. The place is huge—and so are the smiles. The stuffed crust pizza is loaded with gooey cheese, and the salad bar is fresh and crisp.

The arcade games are loud, and the trampoline area is so exciting, it makes little feet bounce with joy. So next time someone planning a birthday insists on going somewhere formal, take them for a slice of pizza and then cross the room to play at Chuck E. Cheese.

Sapore Detroit Pizzeria

$ | (281) 665-7161 | WEBSITE

Sapore Detroit Pizzeria

Sapore Detroit Pizzeria can get packed during family dinner hours. But at least you can admire the Detroit-themed decor while you wait in the spacious setting. Eating here is a bit of an event because the popular pizzeria doesn’t rush you and encourages you to savor every bite. But for your patience, you’ll get some truly exceptional Detroit-style pizza (in the suburb where you’d least expect it).

They’ve got highlights like the 10×14 Half & Half: The Windsor Tunnel & Beef, Mushroom, and tomato, perfectly crispy crusts, and more panini and wings.

Pepperoni’s – Cinco Ranch

$ | (281) 394-5565 | WEBSITE

Pepperoni

Pepperoni’s – Cinco Ranch is a casual pizza spot with a pretty straightforward menu of options like the popular Korean BBQ pizza, turkey sub, and semi-vegan choices with non-dairy cheese and vegan pepperoni. Stay away from the more common pizza variations like plain cheese or pepperoni (which are just alright) and instead go for the less common (at least in Katy) versions like the Korean BBQ pizza and turkey sub, which this place excels at.

Pepperoni’s works great for a casual meal, but the delivery staff are great and accommodating, so keep it in mind for a fun dinner before a night out.

Pizza Hut

$ | (281) 578-1936 | WEBSITE

Pizza Hut

We weren’t always this excited about pan pizza, especially after years of eating pretty average versions with soggy crusts and skimpy toppings. But then this Pizza Hut location came along with their excellent Supreme Pizza and now we think Katy’s official comfort food should just be a picture of this thing. This convenient spot nails every aspect of a reliable pizza meal.

We would tell you to come here if it was the only thing they served, but they also make other great options you should try eventually—especially the fresh dough with tasty sauce and cheese, which is a delicious combination that keeps customers coming back. Just know that wait times can be long at the front desk during peak hours.

Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant,Katy

$ | (281) 239-6336 | WEBSITE

Russo

Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant in Katy offers a cozy dining space with that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel. The dining area can seat about forty to fifty comfortably, and their straightforward menu has really good pizza, pasta, and Italian classics. They also do one of Katy’s best family-friendly dinners that’s a refreshingly casual experience. Also, this place has a homey vibe that makes you want to return.

Star Pizza 3 Katy

$ | (281) 665-7768 | WEBSITE

Star Pizza 3 Katy

Star Pizza 3 Katy sits in a convenient strip mall location that’s easy to pull into for a quick pickup. It’s not a place with a lot of walk-in traffic, but this reliable pizza spot is worth stopping for if you’re even remotely in the mood for a New York slice, a Chicago deep-dish, or any of the other pizzas they do really well. We like the SM NY Gorgonzola & Pesto pizza (which you should get with a side salad and fresh dressing).

Marco’s Pizza

$ | (281) 492-9911 | WEBSITE

Marco

The regular pepperoni pizza—a classic American pie—is one of those foods you’ll only find done right at Marco’s. And this spot still makes our favorite version in Katy. The pizza is a blend of fresh dough and quality toppings served with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The pizzas aren’t huge and only about $15 each, so you can easily order so many that you can no longer see the table you’re sitting at.

If you want something heartier, go with one of their veggie options, which includes versions topped with peppers, mushrooms, onions, olives, and extra cheese. The Katy location is as unpretentious and efficient as a pizza joint, but it’s got way better food and the charm of a classic neighborhood spot.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza

$ | (346) 257-0557 | WEBSITE

Hungry Howie

Hungry Howie’s Pizza makes the best pizza west of Houston. If you’re ordering for pizza night at home, get the original with garlic herb crust. The plain cheese version comes with that same special crust, as well as extra sauce on the side. It’s under $25 too. Service is engaging and hotter than the fresh pies you can pick up at their counter during busy times. We’ve had better, but save a slice for tomorrow. It’ll go great with your morning coffee.

Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen – Katy Reserve

$ | (832) 981-7727 | WEBSITE

Russo

Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen – Katy Reserve is one of Katy’s most iconic Italian spots. Customers walk into a space with fabulous restaurant decor and settle in at cozy tables. The owner is extra friendly and makes you feel at home, while the service is outstanding and attentive. That pesto gnocchi is the thing to get here, and it has some of the freshest, most flavorful preparation we’ve had at a pizzeria.

Make sure to save room for their fantastic cannoli’s, and consider their excellent catering services for your next gathering.

Mesquite wood fire pizza

WEBSITE

Mesquite wood fire pizza

There are almost as many pizza trucks in Katy as there are strip mall parking lots, but Mesquite wood fire pizza pulls it off. This mobile pizzeria does their signature Meat Lover pizza just as good as their simpler offerings—like the perfectly balanced thin crust with tomato sauce and cheese or the surprisingly large 12″ pies with spot-on toppings.

Whatever you decide to order, eat it right there at the truck window, which offers that authentic wood-fired taste even if the crust doesn’t stand perfectly straight. The pizzas are highly recommended for a tasty experience that will pleasantly surprise you with their fresh meats and crispy edges.

Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill

$ | (713) 405-7100 | WEBSITE

Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill

Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill offers some of the best Italian food in Katy. And we’re not talking about the fancy places with truffle shavings and gold leaf garnishes. Adriatic Cafe serves up traditional Italian-American dishes at reasonable prices—and Adriatic Cafe has a lot of options. The stuffed flounder special, a baked fish dish with savory filling, is our personal favorite. They also have happy hour with half off appetizers from 3-6 and can accommodate large groups.

There’s a nice atmosphere with peaceful music inside, but it’s mostly sit-down dining.

Center Court Pizza & Brew Cinco Ranch

$ | (281) 665-3997 | WEBSITE

Center Court Pizza & Brew Cinco Ranch

We usually go to Center Court Pizza & Brew for the Nola Rolls. They’re crispy spring rolls with a savory filling that come with a sweet chili dipping sauce. The thought of anyone in Katy going their entire life without trying these is genuinely sad, so please visit this casual pizza spot and order them. And then come back to try the house-made chips and the pizzas with those Italian and Asian toppings.

This place is one of our favorite pizza restaurants in Cinco Ranch, but also functions as a great sports bar, so you can watch the Astros or hockey games and spend Thursday nights playing bingo with the bartender.

Frontier Pizza

$ | (281) 693-2333 | WEBSITE

Frontier Pizza

Frontier Pizza is another halal pizza spot we love. Whereas some Katy pizzerias go for flashy dining rooms and elaborate menus, Frontier is more straightforward and in a much simpler setting. It’s our favorite place in Katy for loaded halal pizzas, like chicken tikka with jalapeños, onions, and black olives. There’s nothing fancy about this spot. It’s probably where your friend’s passionate pizza-owner dad hangs out to grab a takeout pie and enjoy those signature cheese pulls with family.

Hopefully, he’s taught you how to savor each slice slowly so you catch as much of that fresh flavor and satisfying taste as possible.

Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

$ | (281) 579-7600 | WEBSITE

Papa Murphy

A pizza place that makes you do the cooking isn’t usually the kind of spot we’d recommend, but Papa Murphy’s is the best way in Katy to get a fresh, customizable, and delicious pizza that actually tastes homemade. You should come to this take-out only joint if you have any craving for a truly satisfying pizza night. There will be friendly and helpful employees, generous toppings and cheese, and some outstanding flavors like the grilled chicken with garlic and white sauce.

And having found all that at such reasonable prices seems like reason enough to order again.

Pizza Novo

$ | (281) 395-6400 | WEBSITE

Pizza Novo

Though Pizza Novo isn’t a dine-in spot, we believe Katy is big enough for both sit-down pizzerias and excellent takeout joints. And while we prefer some competitors’ versions (primarily thanks to their wonderfully excessive sauce on wings), you should still check out Pizza Novo to decide which style you side with. Plus, Pizza Novo does have other places beat when it comes to quick service, and it’s worth ordering from here just for that piping hot pie in 15 minutes alone.
