One visit involved delays in service, including long waits for drink orders and food, which made us feel unwelcome despite enjoying the meal when it arrived.
Another incident highlighted concerns with the meatloaf and chicken/shrimp alfredo—three diners experienced illness after the meatloaf, and the chicken, shrimp, and pasta in the alfredo were undercooked and dry. This led our group to decide against returning due to the unsatisfactory experience. In summary, Granite City has the potential for a great dining outing, but it needs to address timeliness and consistency to fully deliver on its promise.
