Giovannis Roast Beef & Pizza Londonderry
$ | (603) 434-9021 | WEBSITE
It’s not a bistro and they don’t serve sushi. It’s a straightforward American spot with simple booths that face the open kitchen—and it’s also been a Londonderry staple for years. The walls are lined with local sports memorabilia, and the counter’s laminate surface shows the wear of countless takeout orders. Service is quick and helpful, the roast beef is tender, and the pizza is incredible. But you can’t go to Giovannis without ordering the veal parmesan sub.
It’s a hearty sandwich with breaded veal, melted cheese, marinara sauce, and crisp lettuce on a toasted roll.
The Stumble Inn Bar & Grill
$ | (603) 432-3210 | WEBSITE
This friendly bar-and-grill makes the best steak tips in Londonderry (and the occasional special, like a seasonal steak tip dinner). Just know it’s pretty much all casual dining and you have to arrive on the early side because it gets crowded a lot (especially on weekends). You can pick from around a dozen steak tip dishes. We’re partial to the steak tip sub, a savory work of bar food art that includes tender steak tips, grilled onions, and melted cheese.
The Stumble Inn has one location in Londonderry. It’s near entertainment spots where you can have a lively night out with great music and a welcoming crowd.
603 Brewery and Beer Hall
$$ | (603) 404-6123 | WEBSITE
603 Brewery and Beer Hall is a classic, and one of our absolute favorite breweries in Londonderry. It does all the things a great beer hall is supposed to do. There are long tables that pull you into the communal vibe and counter seating where you can comfortably dine solo and watch the brewing area. You can get a 603 burger with crispy fries and a honeycrisp apple seltzer for around $18, then come back for a game and grab a smash burger with nachos.
But quiet dining isn’t an option at 603—it buzzes with multiple TVs showing sports—even though they brew that smooth beer hall bock here.
Smoke Shack Cafe
$ | (603) 404-2178 | WEBSITE
Even though it’s in Londonderry, Smoke Shack Cafe feels like a backyard barbecue in Texas. Folks at the picnic tables dig into their platters while the sweet smoke scent drifts from the kitchen. Unlike them, you can have a full feast at this barbecue joint. The food comes out quick, so you’ll likely get your brisket or pulled pork before you can finish your sweet tea.
The rest of the menu is just what you want at a spot like this: tender chicken, out-of-this-world corn, and those must-try pickle pig tacos. They can smoke a mean rack of ribs too.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
$ | (603) 434-8804 | WEBSITE
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a classic American spot on Londonderry’s main drag that proves comfort food is better with a side of corn bread. The friendly staff that run the place (yes, they are genuinely kind folks) make a roast beef plate loaded with enough gravy and mashed potatoes to sustain you through dinner—when it would be entirely appropriate to come back and eat this again.
They have a great breakfast deal with three pancakes drenched in real syrup, thick-cut bacon, and a side of eggs for only $14. If you come with a group of friends, get the coca cola cake with whipped cream to share.
Dunkin’
$ | (603) 434-8542 | WEBSITE
Dunkin’ is a Londonderry staple with a steady stream of regulars who all seem to be on a first-name basis with the staff. The place leans classic coffee shop with a little bit of a New England diner vibe. Anything on the menu with the word “coffee” in it is the move—especially the fresh brewed options. The friendly banter and efficient service are also really good. This is a big grab-and-go spot, but there are tables inside in case you want to sit and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
The Coach Stop Restaurant & Tavern
$$ | (603) 437-2022 | WEBSITE
The Coach Stop Restaurant & Tavern is a Londonderry restaurant that gets its charm from being housed in an interesting old farmhouse/mansion. So keep it in mind if you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming spot to unwind with friends. But it’s also just a great restaurant. Service is patient and friendly, the menu and cocktail list offer a nice variety, and the interior is pure warmth, with spaces featuring couches for relaxation and patios on both floors.
There’s a large bar upstairs for socializing and tables throughout for dining. We like the seafood options a bit more than the other dishes—particularly the baked stuffed haddock special—although they do make the best crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside fries we’ve had in Londonderry.
B’s Tacos & More
$ | (603) 622-8200 | WEBSITE
The gas station location might seem unconventional, but we still firmly believe B’s Tacos & More is worth seeking out even in a busy Londonderry afternoon. Inside the vibrant space, there’s a rotating selection of tacos with various fillings and toppings, providing options for different dietary preferences including gluten-free. You can grab all of that to go. But you can also sit at a table and enjoy some delicious food in the great atmosphere.
Their generous portion sizes are simple and satisfying, and the amazing food is the perfect combination of flavor and value. The restaurant is open every day, and the friendly and attentive staff make it a perfect spot for a meal.
Hong Kong Taste
$ | (603) 434-8228 | WEBSITE
Tucked away in Londonderry, Hong Kong Taste is a Chinese takeout spot that serves reliably delicious and affordably priced food. The pupu platter here offers a satisfying variety, including fried shrimp with that signature heavy batter everyone loves. For something more substantial, the combo plates are generously sized and always hit the spot.
While it’s takeout only these days, the staff remains wonderfully friendly and dedicated to customer service—you can tell the owner takes safety seriously, still wearing a mask years after Covid. They’re also incredibly responsive to dietary needs, going out of their way to accommodate food allergies. The Crab Rangoon is clearly made with love, and dishes like General Tso’s chicken, beef teriyaki, and chicken teriyaki are nothing short of phenomenal.
For under $12, you can get a complete meal that feels both comforting and special. Despite some past hiccups, it’s easy to see why this remains a beloved choice for locals seeking great value Chinese food.
T D’s Deli
$ | (603) 434-0479 | WEBSITE
If you’re craving a sandwich that hits the spot, T D’s Deli always delivers. The Londonderry spot can get busy around lunchtime, but we have never minded waiting for their excellent Reuben sandwich. The friendly deli works perfectly for any and all casual lunch plans—and has a convenient DoorDash app option if you happen to be in a hurry and want the best breakfast steak burrito in town.
Jersey Mike’s Subs
$ | (603) 505-4390 | WEBSITE
Jersey Mike’s Subs opens with that familiar sub shop hustle, so it’s a solid pick if you’re craving a proper sandwich after running errands all over Londonderry. Their meat could stack a skyscraper from scratch, and they serve our favorite kinds of subs: hefty, meticulous, and a little thin-sliced. But if your biggest adventure of the day is to the grocery store, you should still plan for a deliberate lunch at this spot.
Watch the crew layer each ingredient with care and count the rewards piling up in the app like vintage baseball cards.
K’s Italian Prosciutto’s Pizza
$ | (603) 425-7500 | WEBSITE
K’s Italian Prosciutto’s Pizza is a great mix of classic and satisfying. It has the DNA of a typical town pizza place, but serves food that’s delicious and mouthwatering. The interior has a familiar pizza joint aesthetic, with dim lighting and casual seating. The food is the main reason you come here, though. It’s a great call for a quick slice and salad, but also works if you want to eat like you’re celebrating a big win.
If you’re trying to do the latter, make sure to get the excellent deluxe pizza or BBQ chicken pizza, a perfect balance of toppings and sauce with that complimentary sweet and sour sauce.
Luccianos BakeShop
Lucciano’s menu—unique and satisfying—is not limited by gluten-free constraints. Carrot cake cupcakes, mozzarella sticks, strawberry shortcake, macaroons, and pizza are all neighbors here. It’s dessert, celebration cakes, and savory treats wrapped up neatly in one bakery case, which makes it perfect for someone who needs gluten-free options without compromise. All that, plus a charming atmosphere with Italian music that feels like the kitchen of a friend with impeccable taste in baking.
Lucciano’s is the destination gluten-free bakery Londonderry deserves.
