Kobé Japanese Steakhouse – Longwood
$$ | (407) 389-1888 | WEBSITE
Kobé Japanese Steakhouse creates some of the most entertaining teppanyaki shows in town, and the steady stream of birthday celebrations seems to agree. Watch chefs like Joshi, Fuji, or the impressive Baki work their magic right at your table, flipping shrimp tails into their hats and building onion volcanoes that delight both kids and adults.
It’s also worth knowing that while the interactive experience makes for memorable special occasions, the mandatory 18% gratuity and recent price increases mean you’ll want to budget accordingly—though most guests still leave happy with leftovers for tomorrow.
The Sg korea restaurant
$ | (407) 786-2266 | WEBSITE
The Sg Korea Restaurant delivers a casual fusion of Chinese and Japanese flavors so compelling that you won’t mind seeking it out in Longwood. By the time you navigate the strip mall parking and spot the welcoming storefront, you’ll have already caught the aroma of sizzling hibachi. The most popular dish here is the Sesame Chicken, praised for its unique preparation and exceptional taste.
But prioritize the Mongolian Beef, which takes the quality ingredients and cooking perfection and adds in savory pepper chicken and comforting egg drop soup.
Colombia La Bella Longwood
$ | (407) 699-0525 | WEBSITE

Krak Boba Orlando
$ | (321) 972-1654 | WEBSITE
While it may look like a simple boba shop from the outside, Krak Boba Orlando is actually a cozy little haven you could easily devote yourself to for an entire afternoon. The interior is lined with small tables and has an unofficial study corner so the students can be at peace in their own workspace. Inside, you’ll find warm lighting with friendly staff behind the counter and people sitting at their laptops, sipping Strawberry Matcha lattes.
Tack on a brown sugar milk tea with fresh boba to keep your drink from getting lonely, and if you need some “fun” to round out your visit here, join one of the free games they have available while you relax.
Awarded Gateway To India Longwood
$ | (407) 339-9996 | WEBSITE
If you want to try every kind of Indian food Longwood has to offer at a single restaurant, head to Gateway To India. Dinner here is all hits and no misses. Main dishes, like butter chicken with its rich tomato sauce, Palak Paneer with its creamy spinach, and Gateway Veggie Biriyani with its fragrant rice, look and taste like cross-sections of the subcontinent.
Plus one bite of the perfectly spiced samosas here could turn anyone into a cartoon character, with only a few flaky pastry crumbs as evidence. Make a reservation before any trip to Longwood (at least a week in advance) for a knockout experience.
Get Fueled Meals Cafe Fueled
$ | (407) 782-1824 | WEBSITE
Find Get Fueled Meals Cafe Fueled by following the scent of fresh-baked cookies wafting through a cheerful storefront with large windows and bright, clean interiors. Step inside—the line moves quickly even at peak lunch hours—then settle into a bright, open cafe with light wood tables and comfortable seating, like you just discovered a neighborhood spot that somehow makes healthy food taste indulgent.
The menu here focuses on clean ingredients, but there is also a selection of cookies and cakes, which the staff seems to explain with genuine enthusiasm about every single nutritional benefit. Pan Pan Bakery
$ | (407) 729-1031 | WEBSITE
Kind of like sunshine and palm trees, Pan Pan Bakery is part of what makes Longwood, well, Longwood. There are plenty of bakeries around town (those quesitos are both flaky and habit-forming), but we like this location not only because it’s the original Pan Pan, but it also has the most space for large groups, in case you pull up with a tour group or every member of your extended family. Just make sure you order as many freshly baked quesitos, empanadas, and pan con queso bread as possible.
Chianti’s Pizza & Pasta
$ | (407) 331-6300 | WEBSITE
Chianti’s Pizza & Pasta is a straightforward, family-friendly spot you instantly settle into, like a neighborhood trattoria or your favorite cousin’s kitchen. If your errands take you through Longwood, this is a perfect pause for your evening meal. One item you’ll probably spot at every booth is the generous, bubbling pizza, a platter-sized pie topped with cheese, pepperoni, and vegetables that arrives with red pepper flakes for sprinkling.
While it’s ample enough to split, you can also conquer one solo if you have some appetite to satisfy. You should also try the pasta Alfredo—a heaping bowl of creamy fettuccine, tender chicken, and garlicky Parmesan sauce.
Melting Pot
$$$ | (407) 862-8773 | WEBSITE
The wait for a table at Melting Pot in Longwood can stretch past an hour on weekend nights—just know that the fondue experience on the other side is worth it. The cheese will be creamy, the meats will be perfectly cooked (they’re committed to the process), and the chocolate fondue is kept warm right at your table. Even when it’s bustling with families and celebrations, Melting Pot feels intimate—it’s the sort of place where birthdays feel like grand events.
The courses arrive at a leisurely, deliberate pace, so you’ll spend most of your time dipping into spinach artichoke fondue and savoring tender filet mignon while making the occasional stop to request another round of Dragon Ball Durag from the speakers.

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice
$ | (321) 972-9911 | WEBSITE
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is where you go when you’re ready to consume approximately one metric ton of sugar. It’s a summer institution, a dessert experience that could only really exist in a place like Florida. Everyone is holding colorful cups and comically large spoons like cartoon characters while frantically scooping up layers of Italian ice and soft-serve.
Clouds of sweet, fruity aromas waft up from bowls of signature Gelati, alongside endless cups of seasonal specialties, classic fruity options, and rich, creamy blends. Come with a crew of people for your dessert takedown and tell the tale of your flavor adventure to whoever you’re sitting next to on the drive home.
The Nutrition Glow
$ | (321) 890-5350 | WEBSITE
The Nutrition Glow is clearly beloved by Longwood locals—there’s often a steady stream of regulars flowing through the welcoming space. A prime example of wholesome dining, the highlight here is their signature treat, the Brulee protein smoothie. But my pick is the expertly crafted loaded teas with added free cookies to make it a truly satisfying visit.
You’ll have time to consider your options while enjoying the warm atmosphere, ideally involving the soft pastries and a plate of those amazing waffles.
Tijuana Flats
$ | (407) 478-5974 | WEBSITE
Longwood is one of the best towns in Central Florida for Tex-Mex food, so if you’re looking for a reliable spot with great service, a visit to Tijuana Flats should be on your list. Any place that has staff like Tori, who handles orders with such joy and attention to detail, knows how to make customers feel welcome, making this location our current go-to for a satisfying meal. They specialize in burritos and other Tex-Mex favorites—hence the consistently hot and fresh food.
The portions are decent, though some find the burritos a bit heavy on rice and beans. Note that the service here is better than average compared to other locations, and they’re quick to resolve any order issues.
Without A Paddle Cafe
$ | (407) 951-8145 | WEBSITE
Without A Paddle Cafe is part lakeside hangout, part food truck hub, part kayak rental spot, and the best place to unwind after a day on the water. The menu is packed with options, but with everything from crispy fish fry Fridays to cold beer and tacos, it doesn’t feel like just another summer snack bar. After your meal, join the families strolling along the shore for a better-than-the-park picnic vibe.
Shotski’s
$ | (321) 972-1973 | WEBSITE
After a long week of meetings, commuting through Orlando traffic, or dealing with whatever brings you to Longwood, unwind at the lively spot Shotski’s. Apart from well-maintained pool tables and more entertainment options than other bars, Shotski’s has a social charm. Partly because, unlike Florida’s general penchant for sterile chain restaurants, this place feels like it opened in 1985 and never changed.
Snacking on wings with Shotski’s sauce and enjoying karaoke just feels better here, especially if you have to fight the holiday crowds.
Korea House Restaurant
$$ | (407) 767-5918 | WEBSITE
Korea House Restaurant, a Longwood spot that’s been serving Korean classics for years, doesn’t overcomplicate things. Warm wood accents and soft lighting give the entire place a cozy glow, and the calm atmosphere makes you feel like you can linger over your meal all evening. The Beef Bulgogi is so flavorful you could eat it with just chopsticks and the Dolsot Bibimbap is best finished with an extra order of dumplings, so nothing goes to waste.
We have no idea how this place isn’t constantly buzzing, but that means you can walk right in most nights for an experience that’ll have you already thinking about your next visit to Longwood.
Hayburner food truck
$ | (407) 687-7037 | WEBSITE
Hayburner food truck is the friend who “just threw this thing together” while serving the most effortlessly delicious food you’ve ever tasted in your life. Nothing at this mobile eatery is trying too hard—everything from the quick-service counter to the straightforward but impressive menu will make you feel slightly giddy. The menu stays consistent, but make sure the chicken sandwich with hot honey and “banging” fries land in your hands.
No reservations are needed at Hayburner (they’re open whenever the truck’s parked), but if you want to avoid the lunch rush, come early to grab your order and split some lamb burger and crispy fries over a picnic table and a cold drink.
The Bayou Kitchen & Lounge
$$ | (407) 960-6020 | WEBSITE
We’d like to officially nominate the gumbo at The Bayou Kitchen & Lounge for the best bowl in Central Florida. The decor here is transportive, with Mardi Gras beads and wrought-iron accents, but the atmosphere isn’t why you’re here. The gumbo, a Louisiana staple, is rich and soulful, with a deep roux base that carries just enough heat.
It’s like somebody took a tour of the French Quarter, then simmered it all down into one pot, with plump shrimp, tender chicken, andouille sausage, and the holy trinity of vegetables. Dip a piece of cornbread in it and have your evening transformed.
