Was this spot specifically created for this guide? Probably not. But also maybe? There is nowhere in Romulus better suited for a hearty, wallet-friendly breakfast than Sunny’s. The restaurant is almost entirely focused on comfort, and all the portions are made for sharing. Order a stack of fluffy blueberry pancakes, a side of crispy sausage and bacon, hash browns that resemble scalloped potatoes, and a must-try hot dog, and you’ll remember why you love this town.
The staff goes the extra mile, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting, making it a great place to start the day.

As far as the food goes, I tend to go for either the breakfast sandwiches or egg bites, but at the end of the day, the reason for the stop here will always be their consistently great coffee. Just be sure to ask for it fresh – you basically get the perfect start to your day for about $5.
