You’re at Thierry Ambleside for the not-so-secret bakery treats displayed in the case. And we say not-so-secret because every person on the patio is enjoying a Spanish latte. There are several varieties available, including pistachio chocolate cake and raspberry cake, but we go for the traditional almond croissant and pain au chocolat.
You might spot another bakery on the drive through Ambleside, but don’t be duped—that one serves zero cups of the best Spanish latte you’ve ever tried.
Vina Vietnamese

If there’s one thing West Vancouver excels at, it’s impressive restaurant patios. And the best of the bunch is at Vina Vietnamese. The outdoor space, located in a clean and organized setting, has a nice atmosphere with comfortable seating and subtle ambient lighting. The most impressive feature here, though, is the food. The menu features terrific Vietnamese cuisine like beef pho with natural bone broth without MSG, the best spring rolls, and vermicelli with soft and tender pork.

We recommend going for either a classic breakfast poutine (the rabbit eggs benny is particularly good) or the lobster scramble to enjoy with those perfectly cooked waffle-cut fries.
