Bar-side favorites are great too: the jalapeno poppers or Garbanzo pasta with a craft beer from their extensive selection make for an always-satisfying casual meal.

DAK Thai Cuisine manages to be both efficient and comforting at the same time, like a perfectly packed takeout container. There’s a clean storefront at this Thai restaurant and enough authentic aromas to make you question if you’ve stumbled into a Bangkok street market. The dishes, a flavorful but quick-service mix of seasonal pumpkin curry and vegetarian entrees, are excellent. We reordered immediately after finishing our first plate of perfect pad thai.
Hots Shots Coffee

Hot Shots Coffee’s sweet little stand tucked away in Creswell is busy with every kind of customer: from solo sippers leaning into their morning cups at the drive-thru window, to friends and colleagues grabbing reusable cozies from the counter. Sugar-free drinks, rather than elaborate espresso creations, are the main event, though the locally baked goods are of course still on the menu. But the real stars of the show are the baristas.
Stopping here for a sugar-free Mexican mocha and a warm pastry is the move.
Pazzo

A visit to Pazzo is worthwhile for this rustic Italian gem’s homemade pasta alone. Rich, tender, and perfectly cooked—it’s some of the best pasta in the area. Pasta aside, Pazzo is an expert in seasonal, farm-to-table flavors and relaxed atmosphere. Groups of friends and families fill the small space to savor brined pork and lamb, then turn to scallops appetizers and sourdough chocolate cake for delight.
There’s a street view too, usually charming with passersby, and perfect for enjoying the warm, friendly service. Reservations are recommended due to the limited seating, but the food and experience are definitely worth it.
Figaro’s Pizza Creswell

From the team behind the classic pizza joints we all grew up with, Figaro’s Pizza Creswell is a certified ‘family spot’. This pizza place is built for people who say “let’s just get a large” to mask their incurable topping FOMO. Pizzas spin through the oven like they’re on a carousel, returning bubbly, chewy, and buried under artisan crust, buttery herb garlic, and creamy garlic red sauce, and the chicken wings are crispy and juicy.
The room hits ‘cozy game night’ by 7pm, and 70% of diners look like they’re either cheering for a team, or just finished a game, gathered the kids, and came here to celebrate with a slice of fresh, hot free pizza.
Eduardo’s Taco shop

You can still get pastries to go in the afternoon, but the breakfast burrito costs a little more after 11am.

Walk through the door and enter a lively dining room full of happy families and kids enjoying the arcade games. Just when we thought we were going to have to start describing fast food as “something you tolerate when you’re in a hurry,” one of Creswell’s best—and most inclusive—burger joints reminded us what it’s all about. The fresh, high-quality ingredients coming out of Toxic Burger’s buzzing kitchen will do much more than satisfy your hunger—say, make you write poetry about a crispy chicken bite.
