Whenever we’re passing through Cut Off, and sometimes even if we’re not, we like to stop in at this restaurant at the station. Partly because it’s a popular spot for walk-ins, but mostly because the menu is filled with Louisiana classics done well, like rich, flavorful seafood gumbo and shrimp po’boy sandwiches packed with crunch.
Order with confidence, whether from the breakfast favorites like fluffy omelets and Pain Perdu or the seafood section with mini crab cakes and some of the area’s best blackened chicken sandwiches.

Every taco from the menu at 4 Caminos Food Truck, a humble roadside spot, is flavorful and satisfying. The Lengua tacos are so tender and tasty, you’d think they were the highlight of the meal, only to have the $8 burrito make you reconsider your entire lunch budget. The parking lot is perfect for a casual family outing, but if you manage to snag a spot at one of the picnic tables with a couple of friends, then you’re really living. This is one of our favorite food trucks for a reason.
