Rancho Cucamonga is a city that loves seafood. Just ask anyone who spends their Friday evenings hunting down perfect cioppino or fish-obsessed foodies who collect fresh-catch reports. And although you can typically find a pretty solid plate of fish on every other corner, you deserve better than pretty solid. These places define the seafood scene in Rancho Cucamonga, from tiny takeout-only shacks and old-school fish houses to places serving standout cocktails, too.

As a neighborhood favorite, they also specialize in party trays for gatherings and takeout orders that always hit the spot, with the chef’s special saucy crab dish available if you plan ahead. The friendly staff and reasonable prices make it a go-to for those seeking authentic Hong Kong-style meals without any fuss.

Cornelio’s Steak House
$$$ | (909) 936-7666 | WEBSITE
Cornelio’s Steak House is a Rancho Cucamonga staple—it’s one of the best seafood restaurants in the area and has been serving excellent food for years. This place is less your typical steakhouse and more of a local destination for special occasions (it’s moderately priced and offers beer and wine). The tables are elegant, the atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable, and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated—but it all adds to the charm as you settle in for a fantastic meal.
The menu can be straightforward, but just grab the juicy and tender filet with a crispy char or the buttery 8oz Filet Mignon, pair it with the large baked potato, and see where the evening takes you.

China Republic is a Chinese restaurant operating in Rancho Cucamonga, serving Peking Duck, Singapore Noodles, and popular Truffle Beef Steak to the usual family gathering crowds. RAW Kitchen & Cantina
$$ | (909) 294-5416 | WEBSITE
RAW Kitchen & Cantina is bringing a much-needed jolt of flavor (and crispy fish tacos) to Rancho Cucamonga. The seafood restaurant serves creative tacos and drinks that are far more interesting than basic fish and chips. Go for the Baja fish tacos that expertly avoid veering into overly greasy territory, or the quesabirra tacos with melted cheese, savory meat, and a zingy hit of spice.
We like to kick back in the chill atmosphere while admiring the lovely vibe, but there’s also a great bar for enjoying those creative drinks.
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
$$$$ | (909) 463-0416 | WEBSITE
In the plot twist of the century, it turns out that Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is—surprise—a steakhouse. And it’s a damn good one. This Rancho Cucamonga destination is an evening haven of fantastic steaks and decadent sides. Whether you want your protein in filet form or as something a little more splashy, like the prime New York strip, it’ll consistently function as your much-needed celebration meal.
We also love this place because they pair wagyu steak with lobster, so you’ll never have to worry about a boring dinner again.
Islamorada Fish Company
$$ | (909) 922-5400 | WEBSITE
Islamorada Fish Company is a seafood spot in Rancho Cucamonga with decent, fresh dishes like the praised sesame crusted ahi tuna—we’d genuinely devour that by the platter. Until that’s feasible, we’ll settle for savoring their frequently rotating, extremely fresh catches—the alligator nuggets are subtly gamey without tasting like a swamp, and anything with crayfish tails always hits.
Split the cod on a weekend dinner date, or just perch at one of the tables and debate spending $48 on an entrée across the street. The service can be slow, with servers sometimes difficult to find, but when you get someone like Liahona, who’s attentive and knowledgeable, it’s a game-changer. The atmosphere does have that ‘old’ smell, though, and the pricing might feel overpriced for the quality—but for solid seafood, it’s worth a shot.
Senor Baja (Foothill & Vineyard)
$ | (909) 466-0303 | WEBSITE
Rancho Cucamonga’s most satisfying spot to get your taco fix is Senor Baja. The straightforward restaurant, with its simple clean space and large dining area, feels straight out of a neighborhood favorite. And you should pull up a chair and make your way through that menu, because their chicken tacos and fish tacos are wonderful.
There are plenty of tables if you want to settle in and enjoy the welcoming ambiance, as well as complimentary chips and salsa during your meal—though the salsa has a Chipotle-like kick, so come ready for flavor if you want the full experience.
