There’s not much to the inside—just a modest, spacious layout with quiet tables. But it’s a good option for a lunch break or weeknight takeout, especially with their lunch special that includes a fresh spring roll.

Muay Thai Cuisine is probably our favorite of such places—and definitely Vacaville’s best version of this type of Thai restaurant. The cozy spot has a menu full of things that’ll make you feel better about your search for bold, authentic flavors.
There’s the standout Spicy Pad Thai with Beef, the must-try Khao Soi from the specials board, and enough well-balanced options like Drunken Noodles and Panang Curry to get you motivated to order another round, even though the portion sizes might leave you wanting just a bit more.

The best thing about Tom Yum Goong is the authenticity. They have a lot of it—all Thai-inspired—including green papaya salad, pad thai with tofu, spring rolls with peanut sauce, and signature soups. The next best thing is that it pretty much all tastes very flavorful. Their pad thai is tossed perfectly with tamarind sauce, bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, and firm tofu. The Tom Yum Kai soup is a lovely blend of lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, mushrooms, and tender chicken.
And just a head’s up if you haven’t been here in a while, they’ve settled into a cozy space with warm lighting that makes for a relaxed meal.
Sukhothai Cuisine

As surprising as it may seem, dining here feels like stepping into a genuine Thai family kitchen—not just another restaurant. The spicy noodles are outstanding, and the pork egg rolls are crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. The pad thai here, while not strictly traditional with its customizable protein options, is very good and certainly a variation any Thai food enthusiast should sample.

It’s one of those places where you discover what you’ll love by having a conversation with the friendly staff, who’ll happily tell you about the standout dishes that day. It could be the fresh mango prawn salad, or a comforting bowl of red curry with vegetables, and maybe a glass of their popular Thai tea.
But it’ll probably be super good. The space is sort of a cross between cozy dining nook, takeout counter, and delivery hub.
Rod-Sap Thai Lao Kitchen

Rod-Sap Thai Lao Kitchen is a Thai and Lao restaurant in Vacaville with a small but cozy location, which is actually part of its charm (we like this spot’s authentic feel and friendly service better than some larger places). The dishes here aren’t exact replicas of what you’d find in Bangkok or Vientiane, but they’re still really delicious. And we’ve enjoyed every Pad Thai, papaya salad with shrimp, and pumpkin curry we’ve had here. It’s a great casual dinner spot too.
